Les ''Micro Action Figures'' sont des séries de diverses figurines vendues à l'unité. Chaque série comporte plusieurs figurines disponible aléatoirement dans des sachets individuels. Les figurines sont de différentes raretés : commune, rare et ultra rare. Ils existent également des figurines translucides, encore plus rares, appelées mystères car elles ne sont pas répertoriées dans les séries.

Les figurines étant distribuées aléatoirement dans les sachets, il n'est en théorie pas possible de savoir laquelle est contenue dedans. Dans la pratique, un code au dos du sachet permet de d'identifier quelle est la figurine, à condition de connaitre la correspondance entre les codes et les figurines.
WETA Workshop est bien connu pour l'utilisation de "Bigatures", des modèles si importants que l'utilisation du terme «miniature» est un oxymore. Une bigature est une construction géante pour l'univers du cinéma. Par exemple, ces lieux incluent les décors du ''gouffre de Helms'' et ''Minas Tirith'' du Seigneur des anneaux, tous deux construits dans le même lieu exactement. Ces bigatures auraient été créées sur des zones pour le futur film Halo.

Entre début et novembre 2013, le studio n-Space développa sur [[Xbox 360]] et Unreal Engine 3 un prototype de jeu Mega Bloks Halo portant le nom de code Haggar, proche de la gamme des jeux vidéo LEGO. Le jeu était un Third-Person Shooter avec visée automatique, intégrant des éléments de plateforme et de puzzle. Le monde étant en briques, certains éléments étaient démontable ou constructibles, comme des couvertures ou des tourelles, et les Covenants tombaient en pièce une fois éliminés. Il proposait un mode campagne et un mode Besieged, semblable au [[Baptême du feu]] dans un environnement modulable.

Mega Construx (anciennement Mega Bloks) est le nom de la principale ligne de produits de la société Mega Brands, une société québécoise spécialisée dans le jouet, créée en 1967. Mega Bloks exploite le brevet déposé par la société danoise concurrente Lego, ce qui a amené les deux groupes à plusieurs confrontations judiciaires avant que la cour suprême du Canada ne tranche en faveur de Mega Brands en novembre 2005, décidant officiellement que le jouet n'était pas une copie illégale de ceux de Lego, permettant à Mega Bloks de se poser légalement comme concurrent de Lego sur son principal marché en Amérique du Nord.

En 2009, Mega Brands et Microsoft Game Studios conclurent un accord permettant à Mega de produire des jouets dans l'univers du jeu Halo Wars.[1] Le contrat a été renouvelé en 2011.[2] La marque a depuis lancé plusieurs concours de films animés mettant en scène leurs figurines Halo, et étendu son contrat avec des figurines inspirée du jeu Halo 4.[3] Mega Bloks avait vendu 35 millions de sets Halo en date du San Diego Comic-Con 2015.[4]

En 2014, la société Mega Brands est achetée par le groupe Mattel qui renomme alors la marque Mega Bloks en Mega Construx.[5] Le set Pélican Halo Infinite de 2020 fut nominé dans la catégorie Meilleur jeu de construction par The Toy Association la même année.[6]

Micro Action Figures[modifier]

Les Micro Action Figures sont des séries de diverses figurines vendues à l'unité. Chaque série comporte plusieurs figurines disponible aléatoirement dans des sachets individuels. Les figurines sont de différentes raretés : commune, rare et ultra rare. Ils existent également des figurines translucides, encore plus rares, appelées mystères car elles ne sont pas répertoriées dans les séries.

Les figurines étant distribuées aléatoirement dans les sachets, il n'est en théorie pas possible de savoir laquelle est contenue dedans. Dans la pratique, un code au dos du sachet permet de d'identifier quelle est la figurine, à condition de connaitre la correspondance entre les codes et les figurines.

Projet de jeu vidéo (Haggar)[modifier]

Entre début et novembre 2013, le studio n-Space développa sur Xbox 360 et Unreal Engine 3 un prototype de jeu Mega Bloks Halo portant le nom de code Haggar, proche de la gamme des jeux vidéo LEGO. Le jeu était un Third-Person Shooter avec visée automatique, intégrant des éléments de plateforme et de puzzle. Le monde étant en briques, certains éléments étaient démontable ou constructibles, comme des couvertures ou des tourelles, et les Covenants tombaient en pièce une fois éliminés. Il proposait un mode campagne et un mode Besieged, semblable au Baptême du feu dans un environnement modulable.

Après que le prototype ait été dévoilé le 8 janvier 2017 par Past to Present Online, Bonnie Ross a indiqué sur les forums de Halo Waypoint que le jeu était un exemple des nombreux prototypes régulièrement examinés par 343 Industries sans aboutir.[8] Cette déclaration fut suivie le 11 janvier d'une nouvelle vidéo présentant du gameplay non commenté, révélant que le jeu était produit sous contrat mais fut abandonné après un à deux mois sans contact de la part de Microsoft.


Divers[modifier]

  • Certaines pièce possèdent plusieurs jeux de couleurs, dont la plupart n'apparaissent pas dans l'univers, comme une épée à énergie verte ou un fusil à plasma violet. Il en va de même avec les armures de certains personnages, comme des Chef Brutes et des Élites Ultras bleus, ou les véhicules avec des Hornets et des Warthogs rouges ou noirs.
  • La marque a inventé plusieurs éléments possédant un background, comme McFarlane avec les HellSpartans, comme les sections Covert Ops, Night Ops, Flood Hunters et REAP-X, ou des véhicules hautement spécialisés. 343 Industries ont confirmé l'existence canonique de ces éléments particuliers, mais pas leur apparence.[9][10] D'autres éléments, notamment des tourelles, sont exclusifs à la marque et n'ont aucun backgound.
