Le Capitaine Iglesias a été un officier de la marine du CSNU. Il a commandé le Prowler UNSC Dusk en 2552, plus précisément au UNSC Prowler Corps.

Cette année-là, il a été blessé et a subi six mois de traitement à base de radiations sur la Terre au moment de la première bataille de la Terre. Son remplacement a été assumé par son premier officier, le commandant Richard Lash, qui se rendit à l'Installation 05, et plus tard, sur Onyx.

Iglesias a été décrit comme un homme capable, ayant une grande confiance dans son équipage.
