Chimera est une armure de Halo Infinite. Elle est déblocable gratuitement depuis la saison 3 : Echoes Within et est le noyau d'armure de l'événement Fracture : Firewall.[1] Elle fut dévoilée dans le Community Livestream de décembre 2022.[2]

Bien qu'étant une armure issue d'un évènement Fracture par définition non-canon,[3][4] cette armure est porté un Executor.[5]

Description? Rampancy is a form of cancerous insanity unique to infolife, by which an AI's personality matrix unravels as it uncontrollably bloats to fill all available processing resources. In rare cases a rampant AI can maintain a semblance of sanity by continuously shedding corrosive shards of its ego into everything it touches through the hyperlink. The most malicious of these shards are vomited into Executor manufacturing clusters to spawn horrors known as WENDIGO units, biomechanical proxies who act as antenna to spread their creator's viral machine code.
La frénésie est une forme de cancer et de folie unique aux infovies, qui apparaît lorsque la matrice de personnalité de l'IA est déstabilisée par une surconsommation incontrôlable des ressources de calcul disponibles. Dans quelques rares cas, une IA frénétique peut conserver un semblant de raison en expulsant constamment des fragments corrosifs de son ego dans tous les systèmes à proximité via l'hyperliaison. Les plus malveillants de ces fragments sont régurgités dans des centres de manufacture d'exécuteurs pour donner naissance aux horreurs appelées unités WENDIGO, des simulacres biomécaniques qui servent d'antenne pour diffuser le code de la machine virale de leur créateur.
