Le 26 mars 2022, un site compagnon de la série télévisée Halo fut mis en ligne à l'adresse https://halotheseries.tv/. Il reproduisit l'ordinateur du docteur Halsey. Il fut mis à jour une fois par semaine, le lendemain de la publication de l'épisode hebdomadaire. Le site contenait des informations sur les personnages, avec leurs évolutions durant la série, et les lieux.

Le site contenait un clavier encodé. Les touches à presser étient présentes sur les vidéos postées réseaux sociaux de Paramount. Entrer le bon code permettait de voir une teaser pour l'épisode suivant.

Le site contenait deux grandes parties. L'une présentant les lieux, nommée « ONI Database » de la série. L'autre les personnages, nommée « Persons of Interest ». Des éléments venaient aussi se superposer. Notamment à partir de l'épisode 3 où un message de Cortana pouvait être entendu.

ONI Database[modifier]

Les descriptions des lieux n'évoluent pas selon les semaines. Cependant, certaines entrées sont apparut durant la saison. The Rubble était notée comme classifiée avant d'apparaître après la publication du second épisode. Mamore et Eridanus II sont apparues après l'épisode 4.

Earth[modifier]

Earth lies at the center of a large and well-established network of habittats and industrial sites spread throughout the Sol system. Cheap spacelift and fast fusion drives make intrasystem transport a routine matter, trying the livres of billions together in a web of information sharing and ressource trade that stretches from Mercury to the Oort cloud. Security masures are mediated, to avoid productivity and morale impact. Work continues on an expansive upgrade of Earth's orbital defense grid.

Reach[modifier]

The largest and most prominent of Eart's colonies, Reach was the first extrasolar world to be settle by huans, and was invaluable for later colonial expansion due to its confluence of slipspace routes and hability. The majority of its population is of Eastern European descent, primarily Hungarian and Romanian. In addition to being a key mining world, Reach supports the most significant shipyards outside the Sol system. The Reach Military Complex is a network of surface fortifications, weapon satellites, and patrolling warships which form the most extensive line of defense in human space.

Madrigal[modifier]

Madrigal possesses extraordinary deposits of deuterium [2H], which is a critical strategic resource used for military and civilian fusion reactors. A large, well organize Insurrection campaign resulted in the destruction of Colonial Military Authority [CMA] garrison force in 2496 and collapse of the UEG-authorized governement. Peacekeeping forces departed the planet in 2535 as part of the UNSC redeployment against Covenant incursions in the sector. The planet is currently under factionalized Insurrection control, with gray market deuterium exports funding what remains of the local economy. ONI continues to monitor events on the planet and conduct targeted strikes, in cooperation with local collaborators, to secure critical deuterium extraction sites for UNSC use.

High Charity[modifier]

Based on analysis of Covenant battle network (cf *proselytization relay*) traffic and network organization, the mobile capital-ship designated HIGH CHARITY is the central logistical and strategic coordination note in the alien armada. The facility was believed to be outside of human-charted space until 2540, when it was first sighted above the glassed colony of Harvest. BASEARROW long-range sensor scans have provided fist-order estimates of size and mass, but no detailed assessments of accompanying fleet forces or station armement has been possible at this time. Locating and assessing this facility is a priority task for the Office of Naval Intelligence.

The Rubble[modifier]

The "Rubble" is an illegal and unauthorized habitat based around an occupied Xedon Industrial Cluster in orbit at the Hesiod L5 point. The facility is closely tied to the nearby colony of Madrigal for deuterium fuel and volotiles, but has no formal relationship with the warlords of that world. ONI analysis indicates the location is a major transhipment point for unauthorized slipspace transports, pirate activity, and smuggling in Sectors One and Three. Intercepted comms-traffic indicates subtantial support for Insurrection ideologies.

Eridanus II[modifier]

Eridanus II was selected for experimental terraforming by Reach For Life pioneer group in 2440, but first permanent habitats were not laid down until 5.13.2497. A biomedical emergency was declared in the colony on 3.5.2530, with surviving researchers evacuated to Arcadia and New Jerusalem. UNSC and CMA records indicate counter-insurrection activity in the Eridanus system, but details are redacted. Colonial infrastructure was abandoned in-place, and recovery operations were canceled due to Covenant activity in proximal slipspace termini.

Mamore[modifier]

Priority settlement target for second-wave exosolar development after development of the slipspace drive, drawing on volunteers from Jovian habitat clusters. Adaptation of terrestrial organisms proceeded well ahead of schedule, including test settlement of cetacean pods.

Mamore was a collection and processing point for populations displaced during counter-Insurrection campaigns of Operation: TREBUCHET and evacuations from Sector One and Sector Two during initial Covenant incursion, leading to rapid expansion of arcology centers and orbital infrastructure.

Anti-UEG sentiment has been a notable element of Mamore since establishment; the native “Freedom and Liberation Party” umbrella group has claimed responsibility for the Haven arcology bombing that killed two million citizens, among other crimes. UNSC peacekeeping operations and targeted Spartan strikes have significantly degraded rebel activity and influence in the arcology centers. An active and aggressive Insurrection presence is still present in ungoverned outer regions.

Vannak's helmet is well-suited for close-range combat in environments saturated with thermobaric munitions or exposed to overpressure from nearby tactical nuclear weapons. Both are situations in which Vannak has perfected his own style of shock-and-awe assaults.

Riz-028 Samuel Helmet[modifier]

The Mk. IV/S helmet features novel sensor and BIOS improvements co-developed by Riz-028 after her close analysis of Covenant hunter-seekers during the Arcadian campaign. Her work continues to inform the secretive MJOLNIR reconnaissance program and its future helmet designs.

Needler Xenotech Shard Launcher - Covenant[modifier]

Deceptively complicated in its design, the "Needler" is a Covenant infantry weapon prized by the Unggoy (Grunts) as it is able to inflict gruesome damage with minimal marksmanship skills. It fires an exotic Subanese crystal of indecipherable composition that "homes in" on living creatures. Multiple shard impacts cause a sympathetic resonance that results in massive explosions.

Assault Rifle MA5 Individual Weapon System - UNSC[modifier]

Master Chief's weapon of choice, the MA5 fires gyroscopically-stabilized armor-piercing high explosive (APHE) rounds optimized to deplete Covenant energy shields and penetrate their nanolaminate armor. It is also ruggedized to be used as an impromptu melee weapon, should the need arise. No effort was spared in its manufacture to guarantee reliability and lethality in all planetary conditions.
