SIBJ: FIRETEAM ASSIGNMENT
Spartan,
It is with great pleasure that I officially induct you as a Spartan-IV in the United Nations Space Command. Through your training and augmentations, you have displayed intelligence, fortitude, valor and unswerving professionalism that does credit to you and the Spartan legacy. In view of these qualities you have been assigned to FIRETEAM APOLLO until otherwise released by proper command authority.
I would also like to take this opportunity to reinforce lessons of the Spartan Creed that you spoke upon graduation. We stand commited to excellence in warfighting, integrity of character, and respect for the heritage received from the Spartans who have carried the sword and shield before us. These are not simply words, for they guide every aspect of our process of selection, methods of training, and conduct of operations. I reflect on them every day, and urge you to do the same.
The Unified Earth Government places exceptional power and responsibility in our hands. As such, I expect you to remain bound by duty to humanity, the UNSC, and your fellow Spartans. Remember what has been sacrificed for you to stand in the company of legends.
Serve with honor.
Jun, CHIEF OF STAFF, Spartan Operations.
