Il est possible que le S correspond à la compagnie, Sierra. Le 4 est probablement assigné au quatrième peloton de la Sierra Co, ou au quatrième bataillon. BAG pourrait signifier ''Brigade Assault Group'', qui seraient les éléments d'infanterie renforçant un régiment de Marine, ou une brigade expéditionnaire de Marines. 2 / 5 pourrait être soit le 2eme Bataillon, 5e régiment de Marine, ou 2eme Régiment, 5ème Division. <br />
